From the spring season to the early summer season is an exciting phase in the natural environment, it needs to recover quickly from the long sub zero winter months. And quickly it does recover in the southern half regions of the entire Finland. One third of Finland is in the Arctic circle, therefore the snow and ice stays considerably longer on the ground than the southern regions. Eventually the snow and ice melts and the migrating birds arrive as the green foliage and insidious trees spring back to life with new shoots and sprouts.
